Matthew R. Dowdell
Partner of BOND│GILL│RULE, Like many of our attorneys, Matt Dowdell has a varied experience beginning in the political arena. His legal practice has covered multiple areas to bring a wealth of experience and ethical advocacy for his clients. He began his career in law enforcement and elections in both Arkansas and Oklahoma, including the Arkansas Secretary of State. After admission to the Oklahoma Bar, Mr. Dowdell served as General counsel for a small, independent oil and gas operator and producer. Mr. Dowdell spent nearly a decade in litigation practice, for firms in both Tulsa and Oklahoma City. Since 2012 he has been in-house at Phillips 66, as part of their Real Estate Services group, a role he continues to this day. He and his wife, Jenny, spend their time at their three daughters’ Basketball games and Track Meets for Bishop Kelley and Marquette, as well as seeking out live music anytime they can. ​
